Robot Programming and Installation

When purchasing a robot from KC Robotics, the customer makes a decision on which services they would like. They can either purchase a new or used robot with KC Robotics' 13 month parts warranty (Details of warranty are available from sale represnetative). They may also choose from a list of optional services offered with the sale.

KC Robotics’ experienced technicians can install and program the robot. This gives the customer peace of mind in being confident that the equipment purchase will be operational quickly and efficiently. Robot programming and installation performed by KC Robotics technicians may save the customer money, providing a faster start-up time as well as a more efficient operation.

The customer may choose to complete the programming on their own. This process is only recommended for more skilled automation users. Robotic programming is also offered as part of the training classes designed by KC Robotics.

Robot Installation

Many customers choose to have KC Robotics install their new or used robot. Installation is typically quoted as one price that includes all prep work, on-site installation labor and travel time. Travel expenses (hotel, mileage, airfare) are priced separately. Experienced customers who wish to do installation on their own may also purchase optional phone consultation. This allows them to call KC Robotics’ technicians during the installation process for technical assistance. However, for those with little or no experience in setting up a robotic system, this is not recommended.

Robot Training and Programming Classes

KC Robotics tailors training and programming classes to fit the experience of the users. More knowledgeable users may prefer a class in advanced programming, while other users may favor a basic robotic training course. These classes are available to any customer that has purchased a robot from KC Robotics or who may already own one but are simply seeking further training.

Robot training classes from KC Robotics ensures that operators understand how the robot works, the programming language, trouble-shooting problems and specifies safety issues. Most customers prefer that the classes be held at the KC Robotics facility, allowing them to receive hands-on training. This may be done by using a robot purchased by the customer or one comparable to a robot at their plant.
