Robot Programming & Installation

Full or Partial Integration

When purchasing a new or used robot from KC Robotics, the customer may choose to add optional services to complement the robot. KC Robotics offers full or partial integration, depending on the customer’s needs. Installation, programming, robotic training, phone consultation, and preventive maintenance are optional services, as well as full integration and turn-key robotic systems.

Experienced robotic technicians and process engineers at KC Robotics provide customer support as needed and requested by the customer.

Robot Installation

Installation by KC Robotics gives the customer peace of mind, knowing that their equipment purchase will be operational quickly and efficiently. Robot installation performed by KC Robotics’ experienced technicians may save money in the long run, due to faster start-up time and operational efficiency.

Robot Programming

The customer may also decide to program their robot themselves. This is recommended for more experienced automation users. Robotic Programming is offered as part of the training classes designed by KC Robotics.

Installation and programming are usually quoted as a service call that includes prep work, on-site installation and/or programming labor, and travel time. Travel expenses (hotel, mileage, air fare) are priced separately.

Phone Consultation

Experienced customers who wish to install their own robot may also purchase optional phone consultation. This allows them to call KC Robotics’ technicians during the installation for technical experience. This is not recommended for customers with no experience in setting up a robotic system.

Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance is an important aspect of any robotic installation. It protects the customer’s investment by extending the life of the robot. A regular preventive maintenance schedule for a robot is just as important as changing the oil in an automobile. KC Robotics trained technicians purge and change the grease, change the batteries, and perform a system back-up as part of a regular PM Service.
Preventive Maintenance is available as needed or on a yearly contract. Discounts apply to multiple robots and advanced scheduling.

Robot Training and Programming Classes

KC Robotics tailors training and programming classes to fit the experience of the customer. More experienced users may prefer a class in advanced programming, while other users may prefer a basic robotic training course. Training and programming classes are available to customers who purchase a robot from KC Robotics or customers who already own a robot but need additional training.

Robot training classes from KC Robotics ensure that operators understand how the robot works, safety issues, programming language, and trouble-shooting.  Most customers prefer that the classes be held at the KC Robotics facility in Fairfield, Ohio. This allows them to receive hands-on training, using a robot purchased by the customer or one similar to an existing robot in their plant.
